This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and sustain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure and systems related to our blockchain participation and custody services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and implement enhancements in infrastructure, monitoring, system automation, and incident response.
• Identify and execute solutions within your domain where processes, automation, or tools can significantly enhance our operational capabilities.
• Develop a current and forward-looking perspective on activities within each area of your domain and their relevance to the business. Establish and communicate insights that guide leadership and organizational strategy.
• Continuously investigate and stay informed about emerging trends in the web3/blockchain landscape.
• Identify, scope, and capitalize on new product opportunities that may add value to the organization.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed blockchains and protocols to enhance our participation.
• Implement monitoring and observability tools along with best practices to ensure the health, performance, and stability of our blockchain infrastructure.
• Engage in and enhance domain-specific on-call rotations to maintain the reliability and uptime of our services.
• Collaborate with others to develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for streamlining deployment, scaling, and recovery processes.
• You are a skilled Protocol, DevOps, or SRE Engineer with;
• Prior software engineering or application development experience in modern programming languages (.Net, Go, Rust, C/C++, etc.)
• Ability to script in high-level scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash, along with the capability to identify human processes that can be scripted and automated.
• Proven experience working with blockchain infrastructure or a solid understanding of the blockchain domain (proof-of-stake consensus, web3, RPC, etc.)
• Extensive familiarity with compute infrastructure systems, tools, observability, debugging strategies, coupled with research aptitude and a commitment to avoiding repetitive issues.
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex application flows across multiple systems, along with the ability to identify server, network, and application problems and implement measurable solutions.
• Proficient in Linux systems, system performance optimization, and command line tools.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM, Docker, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, LogDNA, etc.)
• Conceptual knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and network security (firewalls, traffic filtering).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to identify issues, determine their root causes, and see them through to resolution.
