VP of Operations, AI Simulation

📋 Description

• Offer operational support and leadership to the BioSim and ChemSim divisions, managing daily business operations which include identifying synergies in resource allocation and implementing scalable systems.

• Guide the shift from high-growth experimentation to established operations by optimizing talent density and capacity among PhDs, SWEs, and GTM specialists.

• Take charge of hands-on and end-to-end execution, monitor progress across intricate milestones, and swiftly reallocate resources (both financial and talent) as needs evolve.

• Lead the Chemical Simulation business unit throughout its growth phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in operational leadership, having served as a COO, Managing Director, or Head of Ops at venture-backed scaled startups; a proven history of scaling companies from Series B to mature operations or successful exits.

• Strong familiarity with AI or heavy-compute environments; skilled in translating the requirements of Research Scientists and Executives into actionable tactical execution that meets business needs.

• A "Builder-Operator" mindset, capable of seamlessly transitioning from in-depth spreadsheet/Jira analysis to high-level strategic planning.

• Demonstrated expertise in performing root-cause analysis on both operational delivery failures and human dynamics (such as attrition and team friction) within multidisciplinary teams.
