VP of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the platform migration from start to finish

• Oversee the integration of the new data pipeline across all Crystal products

• Strategically sequence the migration to maintain both revenue and customer trust

• Lead architectural decisions and assess trade-offs

• Ensure alignment among engineering, product, and customer success teams on a unified migration roadmap

• Reinstate the platform's foundational elements

• Reconstruct the engineering management structure

• Integrate AI into engineering practices as a means to enhance productivity

• Collaborate with the business to convert engineering investments into customer benefits and revenue

• Manage the engineering budget, recruitment strategy, and vendor selections

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of engineering experience

• More than 5 years of experience leading platform, data, or infrastructure teams as VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, or a similar role

• Successfully led at least one significant platform migration or large-scale reconstruction

• Experience managing low-latency, high-availability distributed systems with multi-tenant SaaS workloads at a production level

• Practical experience in integrating AI into engineering workflows

• Excellent instincts for product partnerships

• Proven history of building accountable and high-ownership engineering teams

• Direct experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, fintech, payments, fraud prevention or risk management platforms, regulatory technology, or extensive data platforms
