This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• This is a remote position intended for candidates based in San Francisco, CA.
• You will play an essential role in fostering new business growth within the startup ecosystem.
• You will be responsible for developing and activating pipelines for founders.
• Your role involves generating deal flow by directly engaging with founders and startup operators.
• You will cultivate strong, positive relationships with key influencers (venture capital firms, law firms, accelerators, incubators, and other startup hubs).
• Collaborating with local ecosystem leaders, you will coordinate and host events to enhance engagement.
• You will serve as a connector within your market.
• Your efforts will focus on transforming partnerships into a tangible pipeline by converting relationships into qualified sales opportunities.
• You will create repeatable strategies to scale founder engagement and pipeline generation throughout your region.
• You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with over 15 years of demonstrated experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Sales roles that emphasize ecosystem building, community engagement, or pipeline generation.
• A proven history of sourcing and developing new business opportunities through strong relationships and community presence.
• Excellent networking, presentation, and communication abilities — capable of engaging effectively with founders and senior partners.
• Experience in hosting or organizing events that yield significant business results.
• A solid understanding of SaaS business models and the venture/startup ecosystem.
• A track record of developing new markets, expanding networks, and converting relationships into revenue opportunities.
• Existing connections within venture capital firms, law firms, or startup communities are highly preferred.
