This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Proactively identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities within Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation, focusing on TPA services and related capabilities.
• Target and engage with brokers, self-insured employers, captives, program administrators, carriers, and risk managers.
• Utilize existing industry connections while continuously developing new relationships to generate leads.
• Enter the position equipped to recognize and define specific target organizations for pursuit.
• Act as a senior, outward-facing representative of Davies, confidently engaging with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
• Effectively convey complex service offerings, financial models, and operational value propositions to sophisticated clients.
• Represent Davies at industry conferences, broker events, and client meetings as a trusted expert and reliable partner.
• Collaborate with operations and service-line leaders to create customized, multi-service solutions.
• Drive consultative sales discussions that extend beyond pricing, positioning Davies as a long-term strategic ally.
• Contribute to the go-to-market strategy, target account planning, and pricing models informed by real market insights.
• Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or account management in the TPA insurance realm.
• A pre-existing professional network of brokerage firms, self-insured employers, carriers, or programs that you can actively engage.
• Executive presence with the capability to communicate confidently and effectively with sophisticated buyers.
• Strong business acumen and comprehension of self-insurance, risk financing, and claims administration models.
• An entrepreneurial mindset focused on growth, innovation, and the creation of new opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering results.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration.
• Driven by the creation of opportunities rather than maintaining the status quo; motivated to influence the next phase of Davies’ growth.
