This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the BARBRI brand, including its vision, voice, aesthetic, values, and mission, both internally and externally across various markets and segments.
• Create and implement brand strategies that lead to measurable increases in awareness, conversion rates, and market share among both B2C and B2B audiences.
• Initiate and manage impactful brand awareness campaigns through digital platforms (social media, website, CTV, display advertising, email) as well as print and traditional channels, while overseeing any partnerships with brand agencies.
• Drive competitive brand positioning for BARBRI’s entire portfolio, which includes LSAT preparation, law school study aids and casebooks, bar preparation, SQE preparation, and CLE.
• Develop and maintain BARBRI’s Brand Guidelines, ensuring uniformity and relevance across all channels, regions, and segments.
• Supervise the public relations and communications strategy to safeguard and enhance BARBRI’s reputation as the leading trusted authority in legal education, in collaboration with executive leadership and PR partners.
• Manage the brand budget and collaborate with the CMO on strategic investment choices.
• Direct the creative strategy for all marketing campaigns, content, and communications, ensuring they are innovative, impactful, and aligned with the brand.
• Transform business objectives and product value propositions into engaging narratives and visuals that resonate with various audiences throughout the purchasing process.
• Work closely with product, UX, paid media, and sales teams to design integrated brand experiences that drive conversions.
• Collaborate with product and marketing leaders to formulate brand strategies for new product launches and market expansions, including international markets.
• Oversee relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure quality and brand consistency.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Brand Design, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10 to 15+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative direction, or marketing leadership within the education, legal, professional services, or SaaS sectors.
• Proven ability to enhance brand awareness, market share, and conversion rates—not merely maintaining brand consistency.
• Experience in leading brand strategy for both B2C and B2B audiences.
• Familiarity with, and willingness to explore, emerging AI tools for Assessment, Business, and Content (ABC).
• Experience with or strong knowledge of global markets, including an understanding of cultural nuances and international brand dynamics; experience in the SQE/UK market is a plus.
