VP of Automation Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and enhance comprehensive automation systems utilizing n8n and API integrations.

• Design orchestration layers suitable for intricate, multi-client settings.

• Create robust systems equipped with monitoring, alerting, and self-healing functionalities.

• Seamlessly integrate tools such as Clay, CRMs, and outbound platforms into a cohesive infrastructure.

• Develop both internal and client-facing products leveraging Node.js, TypeScript, and contemporary frameworks.

• Manage the entire product lifecycle—from architectural design to deployment.

• Create scalable automation solutions and operational dashboards.

• Set engineering standards, establish CI/CD pipelines, and maintain documentation.

• Design and implement production-quality AI/LLM systems (Claude, OpenAI, etc.).

• Utilize Claude Code as a fundamental development accelerator for the team.

• Construct intelligent pipelines for tasks such as classification, enrichment, and decision-making.

• Enhance prompt engineering, evaluation systems, and reliability on a large scale.

• Build, oversee, and mentor a high-achieving engineering team.

• Define and execute a technical roadmap that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.

• Collaborate directly with the CEO on product and engineering strategy.

• Lead sprint planning, prioritization, and execution of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, production-level experience with n8n automation systems.

• Strong full-stack development expertise (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, databases).

• Demonstrated experience in leading engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement.

• Daily, hands-on application of Claude Code within development workflows.

• Solid experience with Clay for purposes such as data enrichment, signal detection, or GTM automation.

• Experience in building and scaling AI/LLM systems in a production environment.

• Proficient in systems architecture considerations (scalability, reliability, fault tolerance).

• Executive-level perspective with the capacity to align technical choices with business objectives.

• Background in agency or services with a focus on multi-client automation systems.

• Experience in developing SaaS solutions or productized internal tools.

• Familiarity with tools like Airtable, HubSpot, Slack APIs, and outbound infrastructure.

• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
