This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for IT Operations, encompassing infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure), Microsoft 365, and enterprise systems.
• Guide and cultivate high-performing teams through mentorship, coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and ongoing improvement.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and optimization of IT services to enhance member and employee experiences.
• Promote maturity and improvement in IT Service Management practices, including incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
• Convert enterprise strategy into multi-year operational plans, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Oversee IT Operations budgets while ensuring the cost-effective use of resources, including vendor and third-party partnerships.
• Manage enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments to ensure scalability, performance, and resilience.
• Establish robust governance, standards, and control frameworks to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, ensuring readiness through regular testing and alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Security, Architecture, Data, and Platforms) to provide secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in leading IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, and IT Service Management.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, including networking in both traditional and cloud settings.
• Advanced ITIL certifications are viewed as an advantage.
• Azure and/or Cisco certifications are also advantageous.
• Proven track record of managing third-party vendors and outsourced services.
• Experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
• Familiarity with a regulated financial services environment (e.g., OSFI, COBIT) is considered beneficial.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities, with a focus on driving enterprise outcomes.
• High level of digital proficiency, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and navigating modern technology solutions.
