Mechanical Services Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Interpret and comprehend building plans, mechanical schematics, specifications, and tender documents.

• Design air conditioning and ventilation systems utilizing Plandroid (ensuring appropriate equipment sizing, duct layouts, zoning, and ventilation).

• Select suitable brands, equipment, and system types tailored to each project.

• Create precise quotes in Simpro by applying accurate costs, labor, and margins.

• Adhere to the company's estimating standards and templates consistently.

• Consider commercial requirements such as staging, access, lead times, and any tender conditions.

• Maintain quotes that are consistent, organized, and aligned with the brand.

• Seek clarification early when plans, specifications, or tender requirements are ambiguous.

• Deliver the finalized quote to the sales team along with a brief summary for submission and follow-up.

• Organize records and files in the shared drive and within Simpro.

• Meet established turnaround times for each quote, including tender deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in commercial HVAC estimating or a strong technical drawing/mechanical background.

• Proficient in reading construction plans, mechanical drawings, and specifications.

• Willingness to learn software (training will be provided for Plandroid and Simpro).

• Strong written English skills—sufficiently clear to compose quote notes, tender clarifications, and emails.

• Detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable with deadlines (including those for tenders).

• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

• **Nice to have**

• Previous experience with Plandroid or Simpro.

• Familiarity with commercial brands and systems (such as Daikin, Mitsubishi VRF, ducted systems, etc.).

• Background in quoting tenders and adhering to builder/developer requirements.

• Knowledge of ventilation and commercial mechanical specifications.
