This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.
• Maintain and enhance a comprehensive understanding of market participants and borrowers within Accial’s markets, allowing us to pinpoint the next exceptional lenders to incorporate into the portfolio.
• Participate in industry events and cultivate strategic alliances with key players that can aid in deal sourcing, such as venture capital firms, accelerators, and industry associations.
• Oversee borrower due diligence, which includes on-site evaluations, analyzing success drivers, risks, client protection, and impact.
• Collaborate closely with our risk, legal, and technology teams to facilitate and finalize transactions.
• Negotiate terms and structures effectively.
• Prepare and deliver investment memos to the Investment Committee.
• Monitor relevant market trends and macroeconomic changes attentively.
• Implement Accial’s impact framework during the due diligence and monitoring processes for investments.
• Assist in the development of impact-linked incentives aimed at encouraging companies to enhance their influence on gender, climate, and governance.
• Support the risk team with ongoing portfolio management as required.
• Continuously refine and advance Accial's approach to private debt and impact.
• Mentor team members.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in private credit or a closely related field, such as venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
• A proven track record of successfully sourcing credit transactions in emerging markets is highly preferred.
• Ideal candidates will be expert communicators with a range of stakeholders, including borrowers, colleagues, peers, investment committee members, and potential investors.
• Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages spoken in Asia would be advantageous.
• Willingness and capability to travel for origination, due diligence, and team meetings up to approximately 20% of the time.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• A master's degree, preferably in business, economics, or finance, is optional.
