VP, AI Quality Software Engineering

📋 Description

• Define and spearhead the AI software engineering strategy for the Platform Quality Engineering organization.

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation to enhance software testing, quality assurance, release confidence, and platform performance.

• Collaborate with senior engineering and business leaders to ensure AI quality engineering initiatives align with enterprise technology priorities and transformation objectives.

• Create a roadmap for AI-driven quality engineering capabilities, which include test intelligence, defect prediction, root cause analysis, and quality analytics.

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of AI-enhanced software solutions that improve quality engineering processes and platform reliability.

• Manage the delivery of scalable tools and platforms that facilitate automated testing, continuous quality validation, and intelligent engineering insights.

• Promote the adoption of contemporary engineering practices across AI development, software delivery, CI/CD, observability, and platform automation.

• Ensure that AI solutions are seamlessly integrated into the SDLC and the broader platform engineering ecosystem.

• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams comprising software engineers, AI engineers, quality engineers, and technical leaders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Over 12 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, quality engineering, or similar technical disciplines.

• More than 5 years of experience leading large engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing AI/ML-driven solutions within software engineering, testing, automation, or platform environments.

• Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern quality engineering methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of software architecture, cloud-native development, APIs, distributed systems, and platform scalability.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, quality engineering tools, observability, and engineering analytics.

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional transformation initiatives.
