Principal Engineer, Structures – C&R

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and management of projects in Finland from India (Gurgaon).

• Coordinate with virtual teams both nationally and in Finland.

• Direct building projects of various types from initial concept through detailed design.

• Streamline intricate structural engineering challenges for the team.

• Engage in discussions regarding technical subjects pertinent to structural engineering.

• Contribute to the development of the design team within the structures department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.

• Relevant experience in building projects involving structural steel.

• Proficiency in the analysis and design of steel structures using STAAD Pro and/or RFEM.

• Familiarity with Eurocodes is advantageous.

• Expertise in Connection Calculations (knowledge of Idea Statica preferred).

• Responsible for verifying and approving Workshop and Erection/GA Drawings.

• Capable of collaborating and working within large, diverse project teams.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
