Senior Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering technical direction and defining, developing, and advancing software within a dynamic and agile development setting, utilizing the latest software development practices and infrastructure.

• Offer guidance to developers regarding planning, execution, and/or architectural design by employing agile methodologies like SCRUM.

• Collaborate with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to comprehend product requirements and vision.

• Enhance efficiency across teams by minimizing redundancy and leveraging product and technology reuse.

• Gather system-level requirements through brainstorming sessions with the CTO, Senior Architects, Data Scientists, Business Leaders, and Product Managers.

• Lead impact assessments and decisions concerning technology selections, design/architectural aspects, and implementation strategies.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in processes and methodologies, with the capacity to adapt and improvise in various situations.

• Exhibit proficiency in navigating ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting demands.

• Oversee architecture and design initiatives across the product and multiple product versions, with expertise in architecting solutions based on the foundational product.

• Possess expert knowledge of core data structures and algorithms, with the capability to implement them using the preferred programming language when necessary, as a value addition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM Major (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

• 8 Years of experience in software engineering

• Proficiency in the SmartSignal Analytics processing engine and its configuration

• Proven understanding of the APM SmartSignal product, its modules, and their interrelations, alongside expertise in SmartSignal components and modules.

• Proven understanding of the SmartSignal Classic (On-premise) product, its modules, and their interrelations, alongside expertise in SmartSignal components and modules.
