This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Engage in project research and discovery efforts, which include conducting field research and user interviews.
• Spearhead technical discovery and generate related technical artifacts, diagrams, and documentation.
• Create and develop technical solutions informed by discovery findings.
• Deliver features that facilitate digital transformation projects and enhance user experiences.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve both functional and non-functional defects.
• Elevate solution code quality, tooling, and technical documentation to boost maintainability.
• Collaborate with front-end designers to ensure solutions provide a uniform user experience.
• Provide guidance to product owners regarding technical implementation strategies and delivery alternatives.
• Assist in solution deployment and product launches.
• Contribute reusable components and capabilities that bolster user-focused digital services.
• Aid in ongoing development by onboarding technical team members, maintaining technical documentation, and enhancing development and quality practices.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer working on intricate software solutions within an Agile environment.
• 5 years of experience utilizing source control, especially Git, in collaborative software development settings.
• 3 years of experience developing production applications utilizing contemporary application frameworks.
• 3 years of experience in automated unit testing and integration testing.
• 3 years of experience with database technologies, encompassing relational databases and alternative database solutions.
• Conflict of Interest attestation.
• Ability to meet applicable security clearance requirements successfully, including undergoing a criminal record check and, when necessary, obtaining enhanced security clearance.
• A 12-month contract with a maximum extension of 24 months.
• Day schedule consisting of 36.25 hours per week.
• Weekday hours from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break.
