This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the enterprise AI/ML technology roadmap across all business sectors — ERP, CRM, HRIS, BI, PSA.
• Develop, recruit, and expand the AI Platform organization, including the architecture team led by the AI Principal Solutions Architect, as well as applied AI professionals.
• Establish the long-term strategic vision for the AI platforms in collaboration with the CIO and business unit leaders.
• Assume full responsibility for the AI platform architecture encompassing Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Fabric, and multi-agent orchestration layers.
• Ensure that enterprise integration patterns linking AI systems to Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Certinia, and Jira are scalable, secure, and standardized across REST, GraphQL, event-driven, and MCP protocols.
• Incorporate AI into the enterprise data architecture strategy, including medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) across Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Lake.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise software/IT, with at least 5+ years in senior engineering leadership, directly managing architects and engineers.
• Proven experience establishing enterprise AI/ML architecture standards as a principal-level technical leader, or having previously held such a position before transitioning into management.
• Extensive technical knowledge in GenAI, LLM orchestration, multi-agent systems, and RAG architecture — sufficient to credibly assess and validate the work of Principal Solutions Architects.
• Background in integrating AI into enterprise platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, and other ERP/CRM/HRIS systems.
• History of building and expanding AI engineering/architecture teams or Centers of Excellence within large organizations (500+ employees).
• Strong executive communication skills — capable of crafting and presenting AI investment narratives, risk frameworks, and technology briefings to C-suite executives and board members.
• Experience working in compliance-focused environments (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001) with accountability for AI governance.
