This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.
• Oversee Teacher Outreach for the RISE VOTE 2026 initiative (25%)
• Collaborate with regional Executive Directors at GC to raise teacher awareness and engagement in the RISE VOTE 2026 initiative
• Promote RISE Vote 2026 opportunities to organize voter registration drives through teacher-facing networks, listservs, newsletters, and public education, social studies, and civic learning communities
• Partner with GC’s Chief Voice & Policy Officer to craft and enhance messaging aimed at teachers for campaign outreach
• Ensure the recruitment and retention of teachers for high-school voter registration events during summer 2026, fall 2026, and spring 2027 for the RISE Vote 2026 initiative
• Lead the convening, design, and execution of RISE Vote 2026 teacher webinars
• Oversee RISE Vote 2026 Partner Engagement (25%)
• Create agendas and facilitate meetings for RISE Vote 2026 discussions with GC, The Civics Center, and New Voters
• Offer ongoing opportunities for GC’s Leadership Advisory Council and Future250 working groups to support RISE Vote 2026 through targeted communications via email, social media, and newsletters
• Collaborate with GC’s Chief Voice & Policy Officer & Regional teams to establish school-based teacher relationships for high school voter registration opportunities in Summer and Fall 2026
• Manage the development of outreach materials for RISE VOTE 2026 aimed at GC regional partners in civics education coalitions, pro-democracy sectors, and youth civic engagement sectors
• Enhance the visibility of the RISE Vote 2026 Initiative (25%)
• Work with GC’s Associate Director of Communications to increase campaign visibility through social media posts, newsletter announcements, and podcasts
• Update the RISE VOTE 2026 toolkit in collaboration with GC’s Associate Director of Communications to promote this resource within the civics education sector
• Partner with GC’s Associate Director of Communications and Chief Voice & Policy Officer to secure media placements for RISE Vote 2026
• Manage and Track More Perfect Grant Deliverables (25%)
• Collaborate with GC’s Chief Voice & Policy Officer to create and maintain the RISE Vote 2026 dashboard to assess campaign progress against objectives
• Coordinate with partners to ensure the execution and monitoring of high school voter registration and pre-registration events, aiming for up to 5,000 student registrations as part of the RISE Vote 2026 initiative.
• Supervise the training and distribution of the RISE Vote 2026 Toolkit to 75-100 educators.
• Identify trends and patterns within RISE Vote 2026 high school voter registration efforts to promote ongoing innovation and program enhancement
• Assist the Chief Voice & Policy Officer and GC’s M&E team in fulfilling the grant's reporting requirements, including tracking progress toward all quantitative indicators for the RISE Vote 2026.
• At least 2 years of experience in voter registration campaigns, including design, management, and evaluation of voter registration initiatives
• Minimum of 2 years in project management or event planning
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Experience in youth civic engagement is preferred
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and perform under tight deadlines
