Vocal Audio Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Work independently to produce accurate audio assets and organized training data. Expected deliverables include:

• Vocal Recording & Pitch Execution: Capturing clear, pitch-stable humming takes with dynamic control (e.g., humming softly without fading away or louder without distortion), while strictly adhering to tonal prompts (e.g., "hum a major 3rd," "stay in key").

• Rhythmic & Melodic Consistency: Exhibiting a strong "internal metronome" to follow beats and performing highly repeatable tasks, such as humming the exact same melody multiple times with minimal variation.

• Audio Engineering & Quality Control: Utilizing professional recording skills—including appropriate mic proximity, gain/input controls, and gain staging—to guarantee distortion-free, high-fidelity audio capture in a controlled setting.

• Strict Instruction Adherence: Precisely executing highly specific vocal directions (e.g., "flat tone, no vibrato") to produce clean, reliable, and standardized data for model training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven musical literacy and performance background (e.g., choir, band, a cappella, live performances, audio engineering, or music production) with a calm, controlled voice and a finely tuned ear for pitch accuracy.

• Practical experience in Voice Over (VO) work, studio recording, or previous AI audio training projects. (Candidates who are entirely new to recording workflows will not meet the quality requirements for this project).

• Strong technical recording skills, including a thorough understanding of gain staging, microphone techniques, and effective operation of recording equipment.

• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to following instructions and maintaining rhythmic and tonal consistency across multiple recorded takes.

• Required Asset: Must have a controlled, quiet home recording setup capable of capturing clean audio free from background noise, clipping, or room echo.
