Virtualization Administrator Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Manage systems administration for enterprise VMware vSphere solutions.

• Oversee the virtualized environment, including all virtual servers and virtual network infrastructure.

• Monitor system performance and ensure adherence to security standards.

• Assist in configuring and deploying all virtual machines and installations.

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support, working closely with end users and other technical teams.

• Collaborate with the DAN Network Team to conduct upstream network management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Hold an active Top-Secret (TS) Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

• ITIL4 certification is required (or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment).

• Must possess at least one or more of the following certifications:

• - CompTIA Cloud+

• - CompTIA Security+

• - CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

• - Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)

• - Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

• - Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials (GSEC)

• Typically requires over 5 years of related experience in a professional capacity with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with no experience; or equivalent experience.
