Virtual Weight Management MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Part-time contractor role with potential for future full-time positions (Remote)

• Telehealth services - providing synchronous and asynchronous patient care through our application

• Ideally available for 2 days a week from 3-7pm EST for provider scheduling

• Opportunity to take a leadership role and drive innovation

• Manage a panel of approximately 250 patients (subject to change with FTE)

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes, including dietitians, exercise specialists, and behavioral medicine professionals

• Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with your patients

• Enjoy practice autonomy with administrative support

• Work alongside experienced ABOM-certified physicians

• Join a small, established, and entrepreneurial private practice focused on evidence-based obesity and lifestyle medicine as part of a growing tech company

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid MD or DO license in Maryland

• Current DEA license in Maryland

• Must be a resident of the US or legally permitted to work in the United States (NPI required)

• Ability to work independently

• Capable of engaging with a diverse patient population

• Skilled in implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies

• PA/NP Certificate in Obesity Medicine or relevant obesity background/ABOM certification is a plus

• Experience in telemedicine and remote patient care is advantageous

• Positive demeanor, encouraging personality, and a strong passion for achieving excellent patient outcomes
