This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
β’ Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.
β’ Develop strategies to engage and support student learning and relationships.
β’ Assess speech and language capabilities.
β’ Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
β’ Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP objectives.
β’ Collaborate with school or district personnel to communicate student progress.
β’ A valid Arizona SLP state license is required to practice as a speech-language pathologist in the state.
β’ PreK-12 professional non-teaching certificate from the Arizona Department of Education is mandatory.
β’ A Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety is required for employment in school settings.
β’ Professional liability insurance must be maintained.
β’ Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any licenses held.
β’ Experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context is essential.
β’ A reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup is necessary: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace.
β’ Understanding of IDEA and California special education law/Ed Code requirements is required.
β’ Ability to collaborate remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families is important.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States.
β’ This position is contractual and does not include benefits.
