Virtual Speech Pathologist, Arizona Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning and relationships.

• Assess speech and language capabilities.

• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.

• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP objectives.

• Collaborate with school or district personnel to communicate student progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Arizona SLP state license is required to practice as a speech-language pathologist in the state.

• PreK-12 professional non-teaching certificate from the Arizona Department of Education is mandatory.

• A Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety is required for employment in school settings.

• Professional liability insurance must be maintained.

• Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any licenses held.

• Experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context is essential.

• A reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup is necessary: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace.

• Understanding of IDEA and California special education law/Ed Code requirements is required.

• Ability to collaborate remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families is important.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
