This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver student-focused, IEP-compliant virtual speech therapy sessions.

• Execute thorough speech-language assessments using Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, oversee, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Engage in IEP meetings and offer dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students as needed.

• Methodically track session data and student progress to provide valuable IEP consultations.

• Create detailed, goal-driven progress reports for each evaluation period.

• Provide specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Active SLP license in West Virginia.

• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience in conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY). A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and producing comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is a significant plus.

• Outstanding communication abilities and the skill to establish rapport with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficient with technology, including virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.

• Availability during regular school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual capabilities are considered a substantial advantage.
