This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions that are focused on students and aligned with their IEPs.

• Perform thorough speech-language evaluations utilizing Parallel’s unique Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Attend IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students as necessary.

• Methodically track session data and student progress to provide insightful IEP consultations.

• Create comprehensive, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.

• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Hold an active SLP license in Ohio.

• Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time school-based experience conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and the ability to write comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Possess exceptional communication skills and the capability to establish rapport with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Be tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.

• Available during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual fluency is considered a valuable asset.
