This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver student-focused virtual speech therapy sessions that align with IEP requirements.

• Carry out thorough speech-language assessments utilizing Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, oversee, and adjust Individualized Education Programs.

• Attend IEP meetings and offer dedicated case management for students receiving “Speech Only” services as needed.

• Methodically monitor session data and student advancements to provide valuable IEP consultations.

• Generate comprehensive, goal-driven progress reports for every reporting cycle.

• Provide specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• An active SLP license in California.

• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience in conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and drafting comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Outstanding communication skills and the capability to establish rapport with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficient with technology, including virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
