Virtual Secondary Science Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and support students in successfully completing their courses!

• Implement the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform.

• Attend professional development sessions and faculty meetings organized by the district.

• Document student progress effectively.

• Collaborate with an in-class facilitator who is present with students in the classroom.

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning and build strong student relationships.

• Design lesson plans that are in alignment with the class curriculum.

• Monitor and maintain records of student grades and overall performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States and hold an active, state-issued teaching certification from the USA in one of the specified areas.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional educational role is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and a stable internet connection is required.

• Engage in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit to a background check as part of the application process.

• Previous experience in online teaching is advantageous!
