Benefits Configuration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend clients' objectives for the establishment of their benefit plans

• Finalize the configuration for new clients and manage modifications for existing clients, encompassing account structure, benefit plan design, clinical programs, drug coverage, network, and billing

• Identify test case scenarios to verify the accuracy of plan setups

• Conduct audits on configuration elements to ensure precision and alignment with client objectives

• Create and sustain processes for continuous improvement and internal controls that are in line with industry, business, and technology standards

• Provide assistance to internal teams regarding claim inquiries and training

• Develop and maintain training documentation

• Modify processes to enhance support for internal teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by the organization

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in benefit configuration within a PBM or health plan

• Experience in testing plan setups

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong communication capabilities

• Preferred experience as a Pharmacy Technician
