Benefits Configuration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend clients' objectives for establishing their benefit plans.

• Finalize the configuration for new clients and manage updates for existing clients, which includes account structuring, benefit plan design, clinical programs, drug coverage, network, and billing.

• Identify test-case scenarios to verify the accuracy of plan setups.

• Conduct audits of configuration elements to ensure precision and alignment with client objectives.

• Design and uphold continuous improvement processes and internal controls that adhere to industry, business, and technology benchmarks.

• Provide assistance to internal teams regarding claim inquiries and training.

• Develop and sustain training documentation.

• Modify processes to better support internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by the company.

• A minimum of 5 years of benefits configuration experience within a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) or health plan.

• Proficient in plan setup testing.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Preferred experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
