This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Provide patient care through telehealth appointments, including telephone triage, video consultations, and follow-up emails.
• Engage in ongoing education during weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with both remote and in-office team members through daily huddles.
• Utilize specialized clinical training to ensure outstanding virtual patient care.
• Deliver virtual clinical services in partnership with patients’ primary care providers, adopting a team-oriented approach.
• Successfully completed an accredited FNP program and hold a national certification.
• Currently licensed in DC or TX, with the potential to acquire licenses in additional states.
• Within the last 5 years, have at least 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care environment treating patients of all ages (0+), or 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine context with the same age range.
• Availability to work afternoons and evenings; current shifts are from 7am-6pm EST or 11am-10pm EST.
• Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Willingness to work 2 full rotating A/B weekends each month.
• Support for 2 of 4 company-observed holidays.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to established clinical protocols and workflows.
• Enthusiasm for human-centered primary care.
• Capable of communicating with and providing care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using technology to deliver superior care.
• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.
• Receptive to feedback and self-reflection.
• Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.
• Preparedness to adjust personal and interpersonal behaviors to address patient needs.
