Virtual SC Certified Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and support students through course completion.

• Teach the district's curriculum using the designated virtual platform.

• Participate in professional development sessions and faculty meetings organized by the district.

• Document student progress effectively.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator present with students.

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Develop strategies to engage students and enhance their learning experiences and relationships.

• Design lesson plans that are in line with the curriculum requirements.

• Monitor student grades and overall performance.

• Choose available job opportunities through the educator portal based on certification and placement options.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid South Carolina Teacher Certification is mandatory.

• Middle and secondary certifications are preferred across all subject areas.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Currently hold an active teaching certification issued by a USA state.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is essential.

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.

• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration.

• A background check is required as part of the application process.

• Previous online teaching experience is advantageous.
