Virtual High School Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Ensure that all scholars develop the academic and social skills essential for their success.

• Establish ambitious goals for student achievement and hold scholars accountable for reaching these goals.

• Create an impactful learning environment.

• Design and implement rigorous instructional plans.

• Assess scholar mastery effectively.

• Monitor scholar progress diligently.

• Adjust instruction as needed to facilitate scholar success.

• Contribute to achieving targets related to scholar growth, satisfaction, persistence, attendance, and grade-level progression.

• Teach high school science virtually to families in Indiana.

• A strong passion for supporting students and families in underserved communities.

• A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.

• Necessary endorsements, if applicable.

• A valid State Teacher License.

• Proficient pedagogical skills informed by standards and data-driven assessments.

• Experience in tracking and utilizing data to inform instructional practices.

• Capability to meet physical demands including extended periods of standing or walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 10 pounds, bending, and reaching.

• A valid Indiana teaching license/certification is preferred in the application process.
