Virtual Family/Internal Medicine Physician – Virtual Primary Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive virtual primary care services addressing acute, chronic, and preventive health issues.

• Provide evidence-based, patient-focused care that aligns with the clinical standards of the organization.

• Ensure timely, precise, and compliant documentation for every patient interaction.

• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and interdisciplinary care teams.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and programs for provider development.

• Assist in optimizing clinical workflows and enhancing operational efficiencies.

• Meet productivity, quality, and patient experience expectations.

• Act as a collaborating physician for Advanced Practice Providers as mandated by state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency is preferred.

• Experience in virtual care or telemedicine is preferred.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible status.

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC is preferred.

• At least 5 active state licenses from: AL, AZ, CT, HI, IA, MN, NE, NH, NJ, NC, OH, RI, SC, SD, WA.

• DEA license with the capability to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
