Virtual Extensive Support Needs Educator, CA Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and support students throughout their course completion.

• Instruct according to the school district's curriculum on the designated virtual platform.

• Participate in district-wide professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Maintain records of student progress.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with students during lessons.

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Develop strategies to engage students and enhance their learning experiences and relationships.

• Design lesson plans that align with the established curriculum.

• Monitor and evaluate student grades and overall performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a valid California Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe Support Needs certification.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Currently hold an active teaching certification issued by a state in the USA in one of the designated areas.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer.

• A functional webcam is necessary.

• A headset is required for effective communication.

• Reliable internet connectivity is essential.

• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration.

• Complete a background check as part of the application process.

• Previous experience in online teaching is an advantage.
