Virtual Computer Science Educator – NJ Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction while guiding students toward successful course completion!

• Deliver the school’s curriculum via the district's virtual platform.

• Attend professional development and faculty meetings organized by the district.

• Monitor and record students' academic progress.

• Collaborate with an in-class facilitator who is present with students.

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Develop strategies to engage students and build strong relationships.

• Design lesson plans that align with the curriculum for the class.

• Maintain records of student grades and overall performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess an active teaching certification issued by a USA state in one of the specified areas.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and dependable internet connection.

• Must participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit to a background check as part of the application process.

• Previous experience in online teaching is advantageous!
