This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Interact with members through chat, phone, and email, offering support and guidance regarding their pets’ prescriptions, health, and overall well-being.
• Efficiently manage fulfillment requests, scheduling requirements, and medical follow-ups in a timely, precise, and professional manner; assess and prioritize customer needs.
• Triage cases utilizing veterinary knowledge, providing recommendations and ensuring the delivery of accurate information.
• Independently handle and resolve tasks punctually and to a high standard of quality.
• Communicate with clinics and customers employing various software tools to manage patient accounts, conduct research, review policies, and communicate effective solutions.
• Analyze medical records to comprehend patient history and offer informed advice.
• Accurately document in patient records utilizing veterinary terminology.
• Verify and process prescriptions, ensuring appropriate follow-up for client inquiries.
• Provide an exceptional client experience by demonstrating empathy and warmth across chat, phone, or video communications.
• Adhere to protocols, maintaining consistency while adapting to each individual case.
• Engage in system evaluations, providing regular, constructive feedback to the Virtual Care Leaders or the Product team via our internal feedback tools.
• Excel in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment, enhancing your skills and delivering outstanding care.

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician with a minimum of two years of licensure.
• Successfully completed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
• 5+ years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery; emergency and specialty experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge in patient care both in-clinic and at-home, surgical and dental procedures, along with the diagnosis and treatment of commonly expected medical conditions in a general small animal practice.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and develop innovative solutions in a highly dynamic environment.
• A strong passion for enhancing client experiences.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to work autonomously.
• Proficient in a variety of computer applications.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work regular daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
