Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care utilizing a remote technology platform.

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage various health concerns.

• Offer health counseling and care planning for patients aged 18 months and older.

• Educate and treat patients regarding pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.

• Assess primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients.

• Deliver contraceptive care counseling and manage medication.

• Instruct patients on health maintenance and address patient care inquiries.

• Record all patient interactions in the EHR in accordance with MinuteClinic policies and procedures.

• Collaborate on patient care with both internal and external colleagues, as well as the patient-centered medical home.

• Operate as part of a patient care team comprised of Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Function independently, prioritize tasks, resolve issues, take initiative, and advocate for patients and the practice.

• Commit to the full-time overnight shift from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid license in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CA, HI, IL, MN, MO, MT, NM, OR, UT, WA.

• At least two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.

• Successful completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.

• Current National Board Certification.

• State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.

• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and capability to multitask.

• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.

• Ability to work independently and practice autonomously.

• Proficient in information management and technology.

• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues to deliver high-quality care.

• Depending on the market, proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, may be necessary.

• Reliable broadband connectivity.

• A quiet environment with a neutral background for conducting visits.

• Ability to maintain patient privacy in accordance with CVS Health guidelines.

• Capability to view and interpret a computer screen and other electronic devices.

• Must be willing and able to obtain additional licensure upon hiring.
