Virtual Assistant, Travel Concierge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage with travelers through WhatsApp to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.

• Respond promptly and thoughtfully to incoming inquiries, with initial replies occurring within 10 to 20 minutes during your shift.

• Manage special requests and facilitate seamless communication between clients and hotels or vendors.

• Maintain a composed, professional, and reassuring demeanor, even when plans change unexpectedly.

• Research and suggest hotels, restaurants, and attractions utilizing AI tools and dependable online sources.

• Confirm every detail including location, timing, currency, and amenities prior to finalizing bookings.

• Coordinate hotel reservations, car rentals, and travel logistics across various booking platforms.

• Create and curate destination guides and travel recommendations that combine editorial finesse with practical, on-the-ground insights.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to showcase exceptional hotels and destinations for social media content.

• Stay updated on travel trends, new openings, and hidden gems worth discovering.

• Think quickly and devise creative solutions when plans are disrupted due to flight delays, cancellations, or unforeseen changes.

• Communicate clearly and calmly under pressure to uphold client confidence and satisfaction.

• Background in hospitality, travel, or concierge services (preferred).

• Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or travel research assistants (preferred).

• Familiarity with airlines, loyalty programs, and travel booking systems (preferred).

• International travel experience or strong knowledge of major global destinations (preferred).

• Negotiation skills to advocate for clients with vendors and hotels (preferred).
