This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Capture, edit, and produce both short and long-form video content that showcases lab initiatives, community programs, and research outcomes.
• Develop promotional materials for the lab’s website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms (including Instagram Reels and highlight videos).
• Work collaboratively with the Principal Investigator and lab team to strategize, storyboard, and ensure brand consistency with Penn State and Lion Health Lab guidelines.
• Edit and organize media assets, ensuring they are accessible and consistent across various communication channels.
• Uphold a professional and creative storytelling approach that aligns with the university’s mission and standards for research communication.
• Proven experience in video production, editing, and post-production processes.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong skills in visual storytelling and creative direction.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Consistent access to video-editing software, high-speed internet, and suitable computer equipment.
• Experience in creating social media content (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) is preferred.
• Familiarity with health, fitness, or community-based program topics is preferred.
• Skills in photography, motion graphics, or digital design are preferred.
