This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contributing to the overall creative direction, instructional integrity, and production excellence of video-based educational experiences.
• Taking the lead on scripting and on-screen production while working in close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical writers, and learning designers.
• Creating video content that effectively meets adult learning objectives.
• Managing the planning process, talent coaching, quality assurance, and feedback integration to ensure seamless execution of each production shoot.
• Assessing on-air talent through evaluations and conducting interviews or auditions to determine their suitability.
• Overseeing logistics and pre-production planning for every shoot, which includes coordinating the availability of equipment, talent, and locations.
• Coaching and guiding talent to achieve peak performance.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree (BS, BA, MS, or MA).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or training design and delivery, video production, or technical writing.
• A background in education, adult learning, video production, training development, design, or delivery.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and/or video engagement techniques.
• Familiarity with story design and effective lesson planning.
• Aesthetic and creative abilities to generate ideas that align with content and learner requirements.
• Proficient in writing compelling copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Leadership, coaching, and collaboration skills necessary to supervise and manage cross-team members and on-screen talent.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities for sound business judgments.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated with a passion for learning.
• Capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding research and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel for location shoots, SME meetings, and industry conferences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/365, including SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Experience with Vimeo is preferred.
• Experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
