Video Producer – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Work in close collaboration with our instructional designer, who is responsible for the content and scripts.

• Handle all facets of production, encompassing the capturing, editing, and delivery of videos that effectively aid developers in learning and achieving success.

• Create a total of 12 videos, resulting in around 4.25 hours of completed instructional material.

• Generate narrated screen recordings of live coding sessions within terminal and IDE settings.

• Design animated slide presentations accompanied by voiceover.

• Edit high-quality videos that include chapter markers, lower-thirds, timestamps, and precise transcripts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to read code and technical documentation to accurately align chapter markers, narration, and timestamps with the educational content.

• Demonstrated experience in producing e-learning or technical training videos, including screen recordings and animated slides with voiceover.

• Proficiency in capturing clear, readable screen recordings that maintain legibility at high resolutions.

• Strong skills in voiceover direction, including experience in coaching subject matter experts who may not be experienced presenters.

• Background in producing and editing video transcripts and metadata.

• Ownership and proficiency with your own licensed video production tools; we will provide access to our proprietary software, brand assets, and LMS export specifications.
