Video & Motion Designer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Karya Learn team to create storyboards and visualize scenes, particularly for low-literacy or first-time smartphone users.

• Develop and produce various video formats, including static images with audio, animations, voiceover-driven explainers, reels, social media motion graphics, and more.

• Transform scripts, concepts, and brand messages into compelling video narratives and instructional content.

• Explore and utilize tools such as AI image generators, 2D animation software (After Effects, Canva Animate, Premiere Pro), and user-friendly editing applications.

• Partner with content writers, translators, and instructional designers to ensure clarity and precision.

• Work alongside product and learning teams to align with actual user requirements.

• Collaborate with design and branding teams to maintain consistency in motion identity, enhance materials, and uphold brand unity across different platforms.

• Guarantee that each video is respectful, user-friendly, and easily comprehensible for diverse audiences in India.

• Operate within tight deadlines, balancing efficiency with quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, video design, motion graphics, or instructional media.

• A strong understanding of visual composition, pacing, and narrative clarity.

• Ability to create storyboards and distill complex concepts quickly.

• Proficiency with tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva Animate, and Lottiefiles.

• Familiarity with AI image/video generation tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, etc.).

• A keen interest in how individuals learn and process visual information.

• Experience in designing for low-literacy, multilingual, or rural demographics is a plus.
