This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Engage in playtesting new quests, systems, and builds prior to their release to players.
• Intentionally break the game to analyze *why* it malfunctioned, identify the source, and suggest solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure issues are resolved rather than merely documented.
• Validate fixes and conduct regression testing on a dynamic, live game environment.
• Perform stress tests during critical moments such as launches, events, and updates.
• Communicate patterns back to the entire team: act as the player's early-warning system.
• Provide feedback on enjoyable elements and those that are not, teaming up with designers to enhance the overall experience.
• Have the opportunity to propose your ideas and design improvements to the design team.
• A sincere passion for gaming, particularly in RPGs, MMORPGs, indie, and top-down/pixel-art titles.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills, enabling you to articulate a problem clearly for others to reproduce it.
• Must be self-driven and proactive; in a remote setting, you anticipate what needs testing and operate independently.
• Resilient, able to accept direct and sometimes harsh feedback to foster improvement.
• Willingness to dedicate substantial hours, including nights or weekends; this role requires more than just a "check-in once a week."
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken at a native level.
• A Steam profile showcasing a substantial playtime history.
• **Nice to Have**
• Experience in filing bugs (any tracker).
• Experience with modding or managing game servers.
• A foundational understanding of how games are developed.

• You'll gain experience quicker here than at any studio, as we deliver updates to a live game in real time, allowing you to witness immediate results.
• Acquire genuine QA experience on a live game with over 1 million players.
• Direct access to the studio founder, along with design and engineering teams, ensuring no barriers between you and those who implement fixes.
• Learn comprehensive professional QA processes: reproduction, triage, root-cause analysis, regression, and release testing.
• Enjoy flexible working hours that accommodate your studies or other obligations.
• Work remotely from any location around the globe.
• A genuine pathway to ongoing roles for outstanding performers.
• Join a small, agile indie studio where your contributions directly impact what millions of players experience.
