This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop, maintain, and implement automated testing scripts for web applications utilizing Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Create and run API test suites using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent testing frameworks.
• Design and implement functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cases based on both business and technical specifications.
• Validate application functionality, backend services, APIs, and data flows across various environments.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure prompt resolution.
• Execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines and investigate test failures to offer actionable feedback.
• Work together with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to guarantee sufficient test coverage and uphold quality standards.
• Create and manage test data, test environments, and supporting documentation necessary for validation activities.
• Review application logs, monitor test outcomes, and assist in troubleshooting issues across different environments.
• Track testing progress, highlight quality risks, and provide clear recommendations regarding release readiness.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in test automation for web and API applications.
• Proficient in Java or JavaScript programming languages.
• Practical experience with Playwright, Selenium, or comparable web testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with API automation tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
• Basic understanding of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting.
• Awareness of AI/LLM-powered developer tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot.
