Video Editor, Production Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit one primary video podcast episode lasting 45-60 minutes each week

• Remove dead air, filler phrases, and awkward pauses; enhance pacing

• Synchronize multi-camera or multi-track audio/video as necessary

• Conduct basic color correction and perform audio leveling/noise reduction

• Incorporate simple graphics, such as lower thirds, intro/outro segments, and episode title cards

• Create 3-5 vertical social media clips per episode for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, complete with burned-in captions

• Publish content according to the required specifications for YouTube, Spotify, Substack, and various social media platforms

• Manage weekly post-production tasks, allowing the client to concentrate on content and guests

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Descript is highly desirable

• Skillful at extracting “hook” moments from lengthy conversations for short clips

• Comfortable maintaining a turnaround time of 2-3 business days per episode

• Dependable communication; responds within one day

• Ability to adhere to a style guide/brand kit once established

• Detail-oriented, with a strong cutting rhythm and the ability to maintain energy throughout

• Availability for approximately 10 hours per week
