Video Editor – Marathi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos including reels, social media advertisements, promotional content, and explainer videos.

• Incorporate captivating hooks, dynamic pacing, and a compelling narrative flow to enhance viewer retention.

• Adjust editing techniques to align with platform-specific behaviors (e.g., quick cuts for Instagram, attention-grabbing openings for YouTube Shorts).

• Improve video quality through careful color grading, text animations, transitions, and immersive sound design.

• Work closely with writers, designers, and creative leads to transform scripts and visual concepts into engaging content.

• Keep abreast of the latest editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio trends to ensure content remains fresh and relatable.

• Evaluate ad performance metrics and utilize insights to refine edits for enhanced click-through and completion rates.

• Edit videos in Marathi, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and compelling storytelling for the intended audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.

• Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or comparable programs.

• Strong portfolio showcasing short-form content (reels, ads, promos).

• Solid understanding of social platform algorithms and engagement strategies.

• Excellent storytelling instincts, visual creativity, and sound design expertise.

• Proficient in Marathi with the ability to edit in the language while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and linguistic proficiency.
