Video Editor, Long Form

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit lengthy streaming and digital entertainment shows, typically ranging from 20 to 30+ minutes.

• Compile content from various video sources into polished episodes.

• Edit clip-based programming, original productions, franchise materials, and entertainment series.

• Work closely with Producers, Associate Producers, and Creative Directors throughout the editing process.

• Maintain engaging pacing through effective storytelling, comedic timing, and smooth transitions.

• Incorporate gameplay footage, licensed clips, graphics, text overlays, title cards, lower thirds, and visual effects as needed.

• Design thumbnails, title cards, and other supporting creative assets.

• Export and optimize content for YouTube, streaming platforms, and social media channels.

• Implement revisions swiftly while preserving brand voice and production quality.

• Organize media assets and uphold structured post-production workflows.

• Ensure that all deliverables align with platform specifications and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional video editing experience.

• A robust portfolio showcasing long-form storytelling capabilities.

• Experience in editing content for YouTube, streaming, broadcast, or digital entertainment.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects.

• Strong abilities in storytelling and pacing.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience in managing multiple rounds of creative feedback.

• Capability to handle multiple projects at the same time.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficient in English for effective collaboration with Producers and Creative teams.
