This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Edit and manipulate film segments in a manner that remains unnoticed by the audience.

• Analyze briefs to understand the production team's requirements and specifications.

• Assess the shooting script and raw footage to formulate a shot decision list based on the significance of scenes and their contribution to continuity.

• Cut footage segments and assemble the film's sequence.

• Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall production quality.

• Produce both rough and final cuts while upholding high standards of quality control.

• Ensure logical sequencing and seamless flow across all deliverables.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production phases to maintain brand and narrative consistency.

• Continuously explore and adopt new editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency.

• Execute additional tasks assigned by management as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline is advantageous.

• An impressive portfolio or equivalent practical experience is equally appreciated.

• 3-5 years of experience in video editing and/or digital advertising, particularly focusing on video advertisements.

• Demonstrated success in creating high-performing video ads for online platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X) and motion graphics applications (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

• Strong grasp of digital advertising metrics and analytics.

• Creative thinking coupled with problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the capability to manage ad hoc tasks in a fast-paced environment.
