This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos including reels, social media advertisements, promotional content, and explainers.

• Utilize engaging hooks, dynamic pacing, and a compelling narrative structure to enhance viewer retention.

• Adapt editing styles to align with platform-specific behaviors (e.g., rapid cuts for Instagram, captivating openers for YouTube Shorts).

• Improve video quality through meticulous color grading, text animations, transitions, and immersive sound design.

• Work closely with writers, designers, and creative leads to bring scripts and visual concepts to fruition.

• Remain informed about current editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio trends to ensure content remains fresh and relatable.

• Evaluate ad performance metrics and implement insights to enhance edits for improved click-through and completion rates.

• Edit videos in the required language Gujarati, guaranteeing linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and effective storytelling for the target audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.

• Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.

• Strong portfolio showcasing short-form content (reels, ads, promos).

• Solid understanding of social platform algorithms and engagement strategies.

• Excellent storytelling instincts, visual creativity, and sound design capabilities.

• Language proficiency: Ability to edit in the specific language Gujarati with cultural awareness and linguistic expertise.

• Proficiency in English and Gujarati (both written and spoken) for internal communication and review processes.
