Video Editor – DaVinci Resolve

📋 Description

• Edit and create video content, ensuring uniformity in quality and style.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Customer Success and an experienced Video Editor, as well as families who have experienced a loss, to incorporate family photos, audio/video clips, and personalized touches into memorial keepsakes/slideshows for funerals and/or services.

• Work alongside the internal team, the CEO, and the Head of Growth to take the creative initiative on editing video content for marketing and branding purposes.

• Use DaVinci Resolve for video editing and enhancement tasks.

• Identify trends and establish standardized video formats for more efficient production.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of video content.

• Keep video files and project documentation organized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in video editing with a strong command of DaVinci Resolve.

• Ability to identify design trends and create standardized video templates for improved efficiency.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics and storytelling.

• Proficient in time management and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.

• Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or similar design platforms is an advantage.

• Experience with internal team tools like Slack, Google Docs/Drive, and Notion is also beneficial.
