Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit and produce short-form video advertisements for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and others.

• Create and edit long-form video content, including YouTube videos, educational materials, and branded content.

• Develop quick-paced, captivating edits for short-form videos, along with well-structured and engaging narratives for long-form pieces.

• Integrate captions, subtitles, motion graphics, AI voiceovers, and transitions that adhere to contemporary content standards.

• Transform raw footage and creative briefs into compelling, high-quality video outputs.

• Collaborate closely with the founder and marketing team to refine and enhance content based on feedback and performance metrics.

• Oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced setting, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Maintain organized workflows, including version control and tracking revisions.

• Stay informed about video trends, platform updates, and best practices for both short and long-form content.

• Execute basic image editing tasks as needed (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in video editing, covering both short-form and long-form content.

• Demonstrated success in producing high-performing social media advertisements (eCommerce experience preferred) and engaging long-form videos.

• Proficient in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.

• Strong grasp of platform-specific editing styles for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Experience with modern editing techniques, including subtitles, motion graphics, pacing, and storytelling.

• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining proactive communication and seeking feedback when necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote work environment.

• A portfolio that showcases both short-form advertisements and long-form content is required.

• Preferably, candidates should have some overlap with AEST business hours for collaborative efforts.
