This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform raw footage into refined, cinematic, and captivating video content tailored for social media, paid advertising, OTT/streaming platforms, and branded campaigns.
• Create engaging pacing, storytelling frameworks, sound design, motion graphics, transitions, and color grading that enhance the final product.
• Collaborate intimately with creative stakeholders while also bringing forth original ideas and suggestions.
• Keep abreast of video trends, platform best practices, and new creative styles to continually elevate content performance.
• Export and optimize content in various formats and aspect ratios including 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1.
• Professionally and efficiently manage multiple rounds of revisions.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to high-quality standards for audio, color consistency, branding, pacing, and overall refinement.
• Effectively communicate creative decisions and integrate feedback.
• Juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment.
• Keep project files, templates, assets, b-roll libraries, and backup systems well-organized.
• Work autonomously with a strong sense of accountability and time management in a fully remote setup.
• Spot opportunities for enhancing workflows, efficiency, and creative output.
• Over 4 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in an agency, media company, or high-volume creative setting.
• Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience in color grading and audio mixing; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is advantageous.
• Solid grasp of pacing, storytelling, motion graphics, and direct-response creative.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while upholding high-quality standards.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn and apply emerging Generative AI tools and workflows in the creative process.
• Portfolio or demo reel that displays a variety of editing styles, including social content, paid advertising, commercials, and brand storytelling.
• Preferred Experience: Editing paid social ads, YouTube ads, OTT commercials, or automotive-related content.
• Familiarity with tools such as Frame.io, Adobe Creative Cloud, AI-assisted editing tools, and motion graphic workflows.
• Understanding of performance-driven creative and the impact of video on engagement, leads, and conversions.
