This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Collaborate with the CHRO to formulate and align the total rewards strategy with the company's objectives; ensure it effectively attracts, motivates, and retains employees.
• Shape the direction and strategy through continuous engagement with senior leadership, including the Board of Directors.
• Lead and nurture the compensation and benefits teams, promoting ongoing professional development to stay updated on training, practices, trends, and compliance to deliver a high level of expertise to the organization.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the creation of annual incentive compensation and other incentive plans, as well as overseeing benefit plans and their design.
• Manage the design and administration of stock compensation plans with an emphasis on retention and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Plan, develop, and supervise the administration of health and welfare benefit programs, including medical plans, dental, supplemental life & accident, STD and LTD programs, accidental death policies, 401(k), and ESPP.
• Collaborate with HR leaders to design and coordinate the communication of all compensation and benefits plans.
• Evaluate existing compensation programs; lead the proposal, development, and implementation of necessary adjustments to align with our global business strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement in job architecture and career progression pathways.
• Oversee the successful execution of annual compensation planning, including base salary, bonuses, awards, and all related communications and administration.
• Provide strategic insights to business units on compensation matters, including new hire packages, performance recognition, incentive plans, retention strategies, and compensation structure.
• Partner with HR and Finance to set compensation budgets and guidelines for global locations.
• Ensure alignment between performance management, succession planning processes, and pay programs.
• 10-15 years of experience in compensation and benefits design and planning, which includes:
• Demonstrated managerial experience as a global senior-level total rewards leader.
• Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Experience in a large, publicly traded company.
• Knowledge of Executive Compensation.
• A BA, MBA, or BS from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to travel as needed (the position can be remote), with a preference for candidates in Richmond, VA.
